High Energy Vintage began as a small pop-up at the SoWa Vintage Market in Boston's South End. In the fall of 2012, we opened our original storefront in Teele Square, Somerville. We moved across town in 2016 to a new, larger space at 429 Somerville Avenue in Union Square, where we remain today, curating a large selection of vintage clothing & shoes for people of all genders, classic vinyl, and old school video games. In 2019, we were thrilled to be voted Best Vintage by the readership of local mag Scout Somerville! In addition to our brick and mortar shop and online store, you can find us organizing and vending at markets around Boston and Somerville, including the Buzz Market and the Somerville Flea.

Existential Thread Co is retail therapy at its best. Based out of Providence, RI and specializing in vintage clothing, decor and handmade accessories, ETC focuses on curating an experience with items that will make you pause and smile. Attention grabbing pieces with a sense of humor, the glorious verging on tacky and the supremely unique. ETC’s goal is to make you feel connected to something for its beauty and originality, nostalgia or even the mysteriousness that draws us to things.  Everything has a story and ETC  loves sharing the history whether they be vintage pieces or one of our handmade jewelry pieces. ETC’s motto “Supplies for coping with the burden of awareness” pokes fun at existence while paying homage to life’s ups and downs.
